Meet our first speaker, Martijn Baalman, hacker and founder of Hacksclusive. This guy is not your average IT guy. Martijn is a renowned bug bounty hacker who exposed massive security holes in Microsoft and Google products. With an arsenal of revelations to his name, at the end of 2022, together with Erik Rutkens, he launched Hacksclusive, a revolutionary platform that helps companies detect and fix their cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Get ready for a rollercoaster of anecdotes: from startup blunders to euphoric moments.
The second speaker is Pieter Kooi, founder of Kooi Security. Originally destined to become a cattle farmer, he decided to revolutionize the world of security cameras instead. At 15, he chose not to buy a tractor, but to build a tech empire. Pieter saw a gap in the market for mobile security systems and created the 'UFO' unit for observation. Under his leadership, Kooi Security grew into an international player, with Swedish investor IK Investment Partners coming on board as the new major shareholder in March 2024. Despite transferring day-to-day management in 2021, he remains involved as an advisor and 10% shareholder and focuses on new investments through his own family office.
