Regenerative Agriculture Innovation Mission — South Africa
Organized by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)
Are you working on innovative solutions for climate-smart and regenerative agriculture? And do you want to work with South African partners on R&D, product development and scaling up? Then this innovation mission is to South Africa (April 20—24) a strong match.
This mission focuses on equal cooperation between companies and researchers. The focus is on regenerative agriculture as a practical and economically viable model for making agricultural systems more resilient and future-proof. This explicitly involves applications that are measurable, scalable and in line with market and chain requirements.
Why South Africa?
South Africa faces challenges such as drought, variable rainfall and land degradation. At the same time, the demand for reliable data, technology and knowledge to better manage and scale up regenerative effects is growing. Stricter requirements from international customers and export markets reinforce this need. This creates a strong basis for cooperation between progressive South African farmers and knowledge institutions and Dutch technology and expertise.
Why participate?
- Work on regenerative solutions in a commercial farming context
- Explore collaboration on soil health, water, biodiversity, and data
- Discover opportunities for long-term R&D and public-private collaborations
- Link Dutch knowledge and technology to concrete market opportunities
The mission is interesting for companies, knowledge institutions and organizations that work on regenerative cultivation systems, biostimulants, IPM, data-driven applications or new business models around sustainable agriculture.
You can register until Friday, February 20. Participation depends on availability and the connection of your solution to the mission.
