Innovation Mission | Cold Chain & Post-Harvest solutions

Innovation Mission Cold Chain & Post-Harvest Treatment — Saudi Arabia & UAE
Organized by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)
Are you working on innovative solutions for agrologistics, cold chains or post-harvest solutions? And do you want to work with partners in the Gulf region on innovation, pilots and R&D? Then this innovation mission is to Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (17—20 May 2026) an interesting step.
The mission is about equal cooperation between Dutch and regional parties. The focus is on concrete pilot projects, public-private partnerships and chain innovation, with the aim of better market insight, access to decision makers and building sustainable international collaborations.
Why Saudi Arabia and UAE?
Both countries are investing heavily in food security, innovation and infrastructure. At the same time, there is a strong need for efficient and reliable cold chains and smart solutions for post-harvest losses. This makes the Gulf Region a logical partner for Dutch technology, knowledge and logistical expertise.
Why participate?
- Explore market and growth opportunities in the Gulf region
- Develop pilots and proof-of-concepts with local partners
- Work on public-private R&D and chain innovation
- Get insight into regulations, market access and investment climate
The mission is relevant for companies, startups and scale-ups in cold chain logistics, cooling, packaging, post-harvest technology and digital or AI-driven logistics solutions, as well as for knowledge institutions active in applied research.
Registration is possible until Friday, March 13. Participation depends on availability and the connection of your technology or solution to the goals of the mission.
